The international workshop on underwater and nautical archaeology will be held in the Cultural Centre of Tkon, from 4 to 8 September 2016. The workshop is organized by the Institute for Maritime Heritage ARS NAUTICA, in cooperation with the Slovenian association ZaPa (Institute of Underwater Archaeology), in the framework of the AdriaS Project (HRZZ-IP-2014-09-8211). The participants will acquire the basic theoretical and practical knowledge on the methodology of underwater archaeological research in the shallow waters. The evening part of the workshop will be dedicated to nautical archaeology lectures, and the practical work on drawing the ship lines.
