Exhibition of student works

The exhibition on the works realized by the students of the Shool of Applied Arts and Design was inaugurated on Tuesday, 26 April 2016, in the passage of St. Demetrius (Old Campus of the University of Zadar). It shows the results of the creative workshop on the topic of the shipwreck of Gnalić, realized late week in the framework of the Festival of Science. Inspired by the exciting ship’s story which, loaded with precious and various cargo, sunk on the way from Venice to Constantinople in autumn 1583, the students, guided by the professors Jelena Stošić and Maja Pavin Radaljac, produced a series of proposals for the elaboration of the visual identity of the project. A group of students of archaeology contributed to the success of the exhibition by volunteering to keep the exhibition space opened to the public. The research on the Gnalić shipwreck started in 1967 – 1973, and continued forty five years later. The study of the ship’s remains is the activity of the AdriaS Project (Croatian Scienece Foundation).
