Nikola Mišković (MSc 2005, PhD 2010) docent je na Fakultetu elektrotehike i računarstva Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, na kojem drži nastavu iz područja kontrol inženjeringa i ostalih srodnih tema. Bio je pomoćni menadžer i istraživač na FP7 CURE projektu, istraživač na FP7 CART projetku i kolaborativnom projektu NATO-NURC. Bio je gostujući istraživač u Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, ISSIA, Genova, Italy in 2008 godine. Trenutno je prvi hrvatski koordinator FP7 projekta u području informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija (CADDY - Cognitive Autonomous Diving Buddy). Član je organizacija IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society, European Embedded Control Institute i  Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). Autor je 2 poglavlja u knjigama i više od 30 članaka u međunarodnim časopisima i zbornicima. Njegov istraživački interes uključuje matematičko modeliranje, kooperativno navođenje, kontrolu i navigaciju morskih vozila (površinskih i podvodnih), nelinealrnu teoriju kontrole i njezine aplikacije u području morske robotike.
